commission piece.

i dont think ive ever drawn mermaids before, and i didnt really want to stick to the stereotype of pretty ladies sitting on rocks all day brushiung their hair (even if that is actually what manatees do all day, which is where the mermaid idea comes from). manatees are funny creatures, my fingers keep wanting to call them matinees, which would be silly.

i like making waves =p

i miss my scanner.

There's so much to love about this one: the expressions on the waves' faces, the fish swimming the wrong way in the middle wave, the porpoise, the constellations, the mermaids.

I hope you're able to source a new scanner somehow, if only to keep you happy.

i do still have a scanner, a very good one, but sadly i'm on the wrong continent to make use of it :P
