haha, well I have been mistaken for a boy a couple of times this week, but that's probably the short messy hair and baggy hoodie I've had about me. I'm pretty sure I'm still generally female though.

It's funny, because most people who've seen this have seen the mood as really negative, although when I painted it it was actually more ambiguous - a sort of drifty ink-blot-y uncertain feeling - and you're right, not altogether unpleasant.

It's soft, lacks urgency but also doesn't seem too have been the way it is for long. There's possibility in it, but also a touch of 'not yet.'

Frankly I interpret the blots as sounds. Rain or busy streetnoise fading from mind.
