A little flip book animation I made recently as part of my animation class homework. It's annoying that it seems to be so hard to get a dA film account, without which dA really restricts the formats I can post - plus .flv and .gif totally messes up the quality and doesn't work on all devices If anyone has any ideas about how to get a dA film account I'd be very grateful for some guidance
I now consider the pronunciation of a love-heart to be "uwa-u." That is unnecessarily cute.
My friend go through to the film account pretty easily. That was with [link] . That Sub-Mariner trailer I was in. It then promptly got a DD. heh.
At the time I remember thinking the standards weren't very high. Pick the movie of yours with the most story in it, and put it in the application request form. I doubt that they would turn it down.
Oh no, not unnecessary cute-ness! Here's a picture of a puggle to make up for it: [link]
I remember submitting to the film account application thing some years ago and never hearing back... I'd also read somewhere that the process was really slow, though probably my work also wasn't up to scratch back then. Guess I'll wait till I have a few half-way decent pieces to show.
I remember you talking about submitting before. I think they want finished story things, then you're free to post animatics and fragments to your heart's content.
Thanks! I remember submitting some samples to them some years back, and never hearing back... But maybe my work wasn't up to scratch then. I'll wait till I have some more decent stuff to show I guess.

I do wonder what their backlog is like.
